Dr. Lopez specializes in eye exams for both glasses and contact lenses, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, pediatric exams, and medical exams for diabetes, glaucoma, and red eyes (allergies, infections, etc).
Born and raised in the border town of Rio Grande City, Texas, Dr. Lopez learned the value of hard work from an early age. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S in Biology and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2019 earning the Mission Award and Pediatric Award during her time there.
Dr. Lopez believes in giving back to her community and the world. She served on mission trips to Guatemala providing care to residents of rural towns and has provided care to the unhoused community in San Antonio through the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists.
Dr. Lopez is an active member of the Texas Optometric Association, Bexar County District Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Lopez and her husband have one daughter (2023) and three huskies. They enjoy their spare time with family and friends. When they can, they enjoy traveling to new places in the U.S and Canada.
