Dr. Wendy Lopez

Optometrist

Dr. Wendy Lopez, is a Therapeutic Optometrist, Optometric Glaucoma  Specialist and owner of Nueva Vista Eyecare, practicing in the greater San Antonio area.

Highly rated in her community, Dr. Lopez has provided best in class care since 2019 by emphasizing patient relationships to obtain optimal outcomes. She accepts all patients, including infants as young as 12 months and is a native Spanish speaker. Dr. Lopez always takes her time to explain and answer questions for her patients. 

Jazzy

Receptionist/Technician

Jazz is an Optometric Technician with about 6 years of experience in the field. Her day-to-day involves getting patients ready to see the doctor — taking optos photos, running autorefraction and pressure tests, and handling front desk duties to keep things running smoothly for patients.

 

Outside of the office, Jazz loves spending time with her husband and daughter, trying out new restaurants, and enjoying time with family and friends. She's also a proud pet parent to four fur babies — two dogs and two cats — who keep life at home just as lively as it is at work!

Richard

Optician

Richard has worked as an Optical Lab Technician and Optician for 26 years. He helps patients find the right frames and lens options tailored to their needs, cuts and edges lenses to fit patients' frames, and inspects and verifies eyeglass prescriptions to ensure quality and accuracy. He also assists with front desk duties and patient exam workups.

 

Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years and their three beautiful children. His hobbies include building Gundam model kits, collecting Transformers, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
